Gorilla trekking is the main activity in Bwindi. It is a treasure hiding lots of biodiversity of different flora and fauna with now more than eight groups of the endangered mountain gorilla currently available to be visited on daily basis. You may be booked to track any of the gorilla groups including Mubare, Habinyanja, Rushegura, Bitukura, Kyaguliro, Nshongi and Nkuringo.

On your day of arrival you will be transferred to Bwindi for your next day great thrilling adventure and later embark on a community/cultural walk that very afternoon, before your set back to drive back to Entebbe for your flight to your next destinations

Day 1: Kampala-Bwindi

Meet and greet Wild Adventure Safari representative (Drive/guide) either from the Airport upon your arrival or from your hotel of residence and drive to Mbarara (+3hr Drive) from Kampala via Masaka. Make a first stop over at Equator crossing for photography. Lunch break Agip Motel Mbarara. Later, head to Bwindi a rain forest on earth, filled with primates and different exotic bird species. Make a selection for dinner and overnight at Buhoma Lodge/mahogany springs (high end), The Haven Lodge/Silverback Lodge (Mid-range Lodging) and Buhoma community Bandas (budget Lodging) offering tourists a safe, reliable and clean service. Day 2: Gorilla trekking Bwindi

Start off the day with a morning cup of African coffee well prepared for trekking, that kicks off at 8:00 a.m with a briefing from the UWA officials. Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, simple snacks and trekking boots. You will be led inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. The tracking may take between 2 and 5 hours plus an hour of interaction with the Gorillas, very interesting. Return to your lodge for refreshment and lunch. Late this afternoon a foot safari will be arranged to enable you explore the different local communities living around the park. Day 3: Return to Kampala via Kasese Fort Portal road with an opportunity to go via Queen Elizabeth National Park. Lunch enroute before driving back to Entebbe for your evening flight back home (Budget end) Meal Plan B-L End of service
