Day 1: Arrival Kigali Airport

 

Meet and greet Wild Adventure Safari representative (Drive/guide) upon your arrival or from Kigali Airport, then be transferred to Kigali Serena Hotel (High end) Mille Collines ( Mid range) or 5×5 Hotel Kigali (Budget facility) Meal plan: Dinner

Day 2: Kigali- Park des Volcano

Early start on a good tarmac road for two hours North of Kigali to Kinigi via Ruhengeri. Enjoy the rolling hills for which Rwanda is famous for. Transfer to Kinigi Park Headquarter for Gorilla trek in the park. Tracking the gorillas through the light mountain forest on the slopes of the Virungas is a magical experience. If you are lucky you can get to the gorillas, spend an hour with them, and be back at the base in time for a late lunch! Some gorilla families, however, are more elusive, and tracking can take a full day, especially when it is wet and muddy.  Dinner and overnight at Virunga Lodge/ Governors Camp (High end), Le’ Bambou Gorilla Lodge (Mid range) or Gisagura guest house (Budget end). Meal plan: B- L-D

Day 3: Whole day Dain Fossey Visit

Trek to Karisoke Research Centre which Dian Fossey, the famous primatologist, set up to study the gorillas. Return to the lodge for relaxation Dinner and overnight at Virunga Lodge/ Governors Camp (High end), Le’ Bambou Gorilla Lodge (Mid range) or Gisagura guest house (Budget end). Meal plan: B- L-D

Day 4: Kigali Genocide tour

Transfer to Kigali for a tour of the genocide museum and city including shopping souvenirs.Transfer to airport for your evening flight back home. Meal plan B & L End of service
